Goalie should be very acrobatic and they dryland training should reflect that need. Goaliepro runs coaching clinics annually with focus on dryland training and we also cover a good amount of sample drills for goalies and coaches to use when they build their own dryland programs.
In this example video you see goalies from Espoo Blues performing a 2-man somersault drill, which is good off-season drill for goalies 15/16 years and older. This drill works on your balance, body control, strength and endurance.
In a typical practice goalies will do 3-5 sets of 8-10 somersaults at the time.
