Goalie Coaching Clinic 2005

Our annual coaching clinic is targeted for all goalie coaches, team coaches and people interested in coaching goaltenders. The format changes every year as we want to give new information to the returning coaches.

This summer our main focus is on advanced goaltending and modern style. With this approach we are taking our clinic to a next level from last summer when we covered the basics.

Program details

• July 10, 2005 @ Rochester, New York. ESL sports centre
• Price for the program is $ 65

• Program is designed and teached by Jukka Ropponen from Finland, Goalie coach for Espoo Blues at the Finnish Elite League and goaltending coordinator for the entire organization
• Assistant instructors are GoaliePro's Jamo Hautakoski from Finland and Maksymum Hockey's goalie instructor Yona Fioravanti
• Key focus on advanced techniques and "taking the game to the next level", which means much focus on optimal positioning and lateral movement
• Goaltenders physical analysis results from test with Polar Electro will be used as part of the program
• Special session on how to utilize video as a tool in coaching goaltenders
• All participants will receive a unique handbook designed for this clinic only
• Program for the day includes following items: Classroom theory, video sessions, group sessions, dryland training and on the ice session

Dryland training techniques and computer based analysis are part of our program.
